Almost everything I know I learned from somebody else, and that includes virtually (with maybe three exceptions) anything on this site. OK, once in a while I have an insight that seems kind of original – see tksidekick for example – but years ago I did discover I have a small, very humble talent for organizing information that seems to be relatively unique. The toolboxes, around which this site is built, are an example.
Toolbox 7, “A Basic Raspian (Linux) Reference”, is now published and publicly announced and I hope that somehow people old and young who are just taking on the Raspberry Pi as a hobby will find out about it, download it as a pdf from GitHub (where it is a 600 dpi version), print two sides, and laminate it. I estimate if discovered early enough it can save some of them as much as three months of needless effort, and others may find enough relief from frustration that they continue their interest, whereas otherwise they would give it up.
